Yeeha...what fabulous school holiday weather we are having. Amazing frosts in the morning and the most beautiful clear sunny days. From our guests comments sounds like Wellington has had lots of rain and they are really enjoying our SUN!!!! We've had quite a few families go down to the snow for the day and come back for a HOT soak in our FREE Thermally heated Pool. Open 9am - 9pm! We still have our COOL DEALS so check them out if you're thinking of heading our way. Still some vacancies for the last week of the SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. We have recently installed some GREAT XBOX games machines in the games room for small & BIG Kids (come on Dad!) . We've repaved outside some of our park motels and more gardens...Looks great. We have regrassed some sites again ready for Labour weekend/Xmas period. Our new rates have been set and letters will go out shortly for the Christmas bookings.

Wow... where has all the time gone... Christmas and New Year has flown by. Easter has been fabulous and the last week of the school holidays are looking busy. Whew... well catch up with news again once we've caught our breath.

- Three of the Cottage Park Motels have been painted inside and hopefully the other three should be done by Christmas
- All Cottage Park Motels have had new double glazed windows installed
- We've had busy school holidays, even with the snow and road closures!

- We've revamped our recycling stations, adding a lot more coloured bins. Most people have been great with recycling (especially our overseas guests) but a few still need to learn! BUT we'll get there! Come on KIWIS...

We've been busy...both our Camper’s Kitchens have been renovated, with new wall lining, wall tiles and under bench cupboards. In the Top Block kitchen we have added an extra stove, more microwaves and another toaster. In the Bottom Block we made the laundry bigger and added an extra double-stacker washer / dryer machine. New gardens and a wall have been built by the Bottom Block kitchen and bathroom for privacy. We've also added more seating on the grassy area around kitchen. Pictures coming soon!

Environmental success! Lake Taupo TOP 10 Holiday Resort has just been awarded the Qualmark Enviro - SILVER rating, in addition to our Qualmark 5-star Holiday Park status.
Under floor insulation has been installed in our Ensuites, Deluxe Cabins 6 and Deluxe Studio Motel 95. We have replaced the gas heating in all our Ensuites with heat-pump / air conditioning units, which will be great for summer and winter use. The interior of the Standard Cabins have been painted. Our Bottom Block campers’ facilities have undergone major upgrades with the laundry being stripped and relined with a new layout and tiles. The kitchen has also been relined, with a new tile up-stand and cupboards added. A gas hot water system has been installed for the bottom block facilities. Painting is continuing on the outside of units. The games room is looking great, with new paint inside. Deluxe Studio Park Motel 95 is having new tiles and a new vanity in the bathroom. Linen and Bedding has been put in all our cabins now, so all our accommodation comes with linen / bedding. You will still need to bring your own towels for cabins and pool towels are still required for all accommodation options. The driveway on Park Lane has been widened and re-concreted in the middle section.
